Eastside Streetcar Construction Updates

In an effort to keep you as up to date as possible the TMA will be publishing construction updates that provide a schedule of closures and conflicts for the coming 3-weeks. These updates are provided to us by Portland Streetcar construction management team. These 3-week updates will be updated weekly.

3-Week Construction Schedule (including all closures)
Important update: The latest on the Broadway Bridge closure is that access will be closed to bicyclists and pedestrians beginning July 19th until September 3rd. The reason for the change in plans is that the thousands of pounds of steel track being brought on to the bridge have created a balance problem. Sidewalk beds and steel rails are being taken out temporarily. Bike detour routes will be posted on the Portland Streetcar website. The Steel Bridge will be a primary alternative. There will be signage and City employees on the ground to alert cyclists and pedestrians to the closure.
